Learn how to print your map.

Last updated: April 10, 2020

Prerequisites:

  • Access to an internet browser.

Process:

Once you have configured the map view to your liking, and the view encompasses all features which you would like to be on the printed map, you will navigate to the button near the top right of the page.

  • This button will open up the printing options. Name your map in the Title bar and select your layout for printing, standard or large format. You can also change your scale to further zoom in or out of the current view. If you leave the Scale bar blank, then the printed map scale will reflect the scale of the map view on the MapGeo site.

  • Once you have customized your Print settings, click “Create Printable Map”

  • Your printable map will contain ALL of the markups, selections, abutting properties, etc. that you have selected. Therefore, be sure to only include what you want on the printed map within your map view.

  • The printable map is a .pdf, so you may either print it or save it to your computer.
